Experimental Drawing and Mixed Media is a class that incorporates the basic elements of drawing –value, line, space, gesture, color, weight, texture, composition- with layering techniques utilizing Golden’s acrylic grounds that include:   Absorbent Ground and Acrylic Ground for Pastels. Drawing from objects, photos and personal mark-making to create layers of information with charcoal, pencil, pastel, collage, markers and inks, will allow each student to work through a process that is both personal and formal.  The momentum and content of the drawings will develop as additional layers are added to create a rich dimensional surface.  The goal is to develop personal drawing skills, ideas, and find the “surprise” in a finished drawing.  Surfaces will include paper and wood panels. Plexiglass can be also be added. All levels are invited.  Teaching is to each individual.  Payment can be made on PayPal button or E-Mail me for a request for a down payment.  There are 5 places for this workshop available.
